A group of friends and their families participated in the Restoration Project at Karo Highlands. This project site is situated above 1000m above sea level, therefore it provides a cool and refreshing air. The project is a collaboration with local NGOs and inter agencies in rejuvenating degraded forest of Tahura Bukit Barisan. The group came under the banner of Cahaya International Aid donated 200 saplings as part of the first phase of their commitment. They hope to increase their support to the project gradually.
The activities are centred towards creating an unforgettable memories among the families as they helped to plant saplings and learning new things from the local crew.
We look forward to welcome more family’s groups to the project and raise awareness about conservation of biodiversity and climate change.
