In mid October 2019, we had a campaign and appeal to reforest degraded areas of Tahura Forest in Karo Highlands, North Sumatra. The forest has been damaged by illegal loggings and mismanagement of land. Now we are slowly helping to patch back the ecosystem by reforesting areas that are being dominated by weeds. We will plant about 3000 trees on this area and we have called this project, Project Tembesu, in honour of the national tree of Singapore. This effort has been supported by kind Singaporeans who are concern and keen to repair the damages that human have done to nature. Thank you.
