A 3 men team visited our Project Crest sites in Lombok this February. They are keen to know more about the project and how they can contribute to the expansion of the project in 2018.
They were given first hand introduction to the challenges of the project by our partners in Labuan Pandan and Sembalun.
The team also planted mangrove saplings at Petagan. The saplings were propagated by Team Nanyang Girls High School during their expedition trip in November 2017.
Team ASA will be planting the saplings when they start their YEP program in July 2018.
We hope with continuous flow of teams arriving, it will help to sustain the project to meet the community’s goal of preserving and restoring the natural habitat of their environment.
